So recently the site hasn’t been as reliable as I would have liked, this is due to issues with the server hosting the site and even after migrating to much bigger Digital Ocean droplet I still had issues with stability. I therefore made the decision to migrate the blog to use Jekyll hosted on GitHub.

What does this mean going forward?

This means that going forward the site should be much more stable however some areas of the site have not yet been migrated. This includes some of my Talks and some of my CFP’s that I had published on the site. I will endeavour to migrate as much as this as soon as possible and ensure that any redirects are in place if necessary.

The benefit of this is we have a shiny new design which I spent a few days throwing together. It isn’t perfect but I think the typography is in a much better place than it was before so it would be good to get feedback on how people are finding the new site.

Anyway, thank you for visiting this site, I hope going forward to start posting more regularly and comments on the new blog design are more than welcome.
